The objectives of the "SENSOR" team are both cognitive and finalized. We want to bring our expertise for a better understanding of the role of energetic metabolism and its disturbances on the gonad both on the fertility of agronomic animals and to obtain information applicable to the human species. We focus on:

1- the link that exists between the energetic reservoir that is adipose tissue (and the liver), and the activity of the gonad, in particular through the influence of various environmental factors (nutrition, endocrine disruptors, molecules stimulating the obesity ....)

2- the role that can have energy detectors (AMPK, mTOR, PPAR) which are, like the needle of the gas gauge in the cell, within the ovary and the testis.

3- the development of innovative approaches combining molecules of plant origin that can regulate both the adipose tissue and the gonadotropic axis.
