Imagerie IRM

Nous développons des approches d'imagerie cérébrale, principalement sur le modèle ovin sur la plateforme CIRE du laboratoire (IRM clinique 3T Siemens Verio). Après avoir mis au point les outils nécessaires à nos études (template, cartes de probabilités, atlas, routines informatiques...) nous sommes maintenant capables d'effectuer l'ensemble des modalités d'acquisition d'image, à savoir imagerie anatomique (T1, T2...) et approches associées (voxel-based morphometry...), imagerie fonctionnelle, imagerie de tenseur de diffusion et spectrométrie RMN. Par ailleurs, nous utilisons également différents agents de contraste (fluorinert©, imagerie du manganèse...). Ces approches présentent le grand avantage de pouvoir être effectué in vivo, permettant un suivi longitudinal des animaux. Par ailleurs des analyses ex-vivo sont également possibles. Une fois les données acquises, nous avons mis au point les approches d'analyse d'image et du signal nécessaires à la quantification des paramètres recherchés.

Il nous arrive par ailleurs d'utiliser ces approches sur des modèles rongeurs qui nécessitent l'utilisation de machines expérimentales et non cliniques présentes au sein d'autres plateformes. Dans ce cadre, nous collaborons avec la plateforme IRM du Centre de Biophysique d'Orléans.
